Push for Promotion - Update

The run up to the Easter weekend were still top albeit by a point (with a 2 game advantage on WBA), one of those games is tonight and unless you’ve been off the Geordie planet for the last week or so it’s against promotion hangers on Forest. Forest have had a great season but they must be NUFC tonight if they fancy a shot at automatic promotion as I cannot see WBA slipping up at this late stage they alongside NUFC have been there or thereabouts all season.

The simple facts are

NUFC win tonight, Forest beat at Ashton Gate on Saturday and NUFC win at Peterborough, then NUFC can clinch promotion with an away victory at Peterborough - we could be promoted by 5pm on Saturday.

Then the celebrations can truly begin with an Easter Monday clash on TV against Sheff Utd.
