Horrible little bastard agent Barry Silkman has claimed that NUFC turned down Zinedine Zidane, claiming he wasn’t good enough for the second division.
He also claims that the deal to take him to Juve from Bordeaux was £1.2m (in reality, it was £3.2m) and that he then moved to Real Madrid ‘two years later’ for £48m (fee correct, but it was actually five years at Juve).
