Deadline delayed again?
Local radio in Newcastle are reporting the supposed deadline for the sale of the club has once more been extended.
What this means in terms of how far down the line potential buyers are, and what it means in terms of transfers in and out before the end of the window, is up for debate.
What isn’t up for debate, however, is that we need something to happen quickly or we face six months with a very, very fragile squad.
