My Thoughts….

“What can you say about a man, whom it has all been said before?

Sir Bobby was the epitome of everything that is good about being a Geordie, he was kind, friendly, selfless and most of all he made us all smile. He knew his faults but also knew his strengths and he strived towards perfection everywhere he worked whilst making friends in often difficult circumstances.

He will always be remembered for his tactical football nous, but in most Newcastle fans eyes - he will be remembered for that cheeky smile and that passion that sadly not everyone in modern football has.

I will miss him, as will the whole of the global footballing community, a gent, an ambassador, a comedian and a footballer…..RIP Sir Bob, I hope the cloud you sleep on has black stripes through it.”
