It would appear that the rumours flying around were bollocks, which is a massive shame given the potentially good news it would have brought about.
Although the source remains adamant that something important happened on Friday - the longer this drags on, the more it appears to be someone being a bit over-optimistic.
We sincerely hope something happens soon, or the saying ‘do a Leeds’ will inevitably become ‘do a Newcastle’…
